Cliff Helm is a Chicago area attorney and JEP alumnus specializing in small business law, non-profit law, music and the arts, and community development. His practice is dedicated to supporting people as they start and maintain small businesses and non-profits. In addition, he is an advocate for responsible community development through the use of Community Benefits Agreements. Cliff was placed at the Law Project (part of the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law) and worked with non-profits, small businesses, and community coalitions. Law Office of Katherine Gaughan-Palombi
Katherine Gaughan is an attorney who understands the legal needs of survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She has experience teaching as an Adjunct Professor at the John Marshall Law School’s Family Law and Domestic Violence Clinic. She previously worked as a Staff Attorney at the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation. Katherine completed a 40-hour training to become a sexual assault advocate for a rape crisis hotline. Jason Hans passion is to defend our civil rights by forcing the government to prove its burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt in criminal trials. He enforces civil rights by suing the police and prosecutors for misconduct, and employers who infringe on the rights of their employees.
