How do I get matched with an attorney?
After submitting the intake form, our algorithm will attempt to match you with an attorney in the JEP network that matches your requested practice area, case location, preferred language, etc. If an attorney matches with you, you will receive an email notification with the attorney’s contact information. They will reach out to you to schedule a consultation to further discuss your case and to determine whether they have the availability to take on your matter. Otherwise, the algorithm will match you with the next eligible attorney, as applicable. Please note, being matched with an attorney in the JEP network, or even scheduling a consultation with an attorney, does not guarantee that an attorney will be able to assist you with your legal matter.
How long will it take to hear from an attorney?
After submitting your forms, it might take several days for an attorney to see the case, accept the request, and reach out to you to schedule a consultation. If the system is unable to connect you with an attorney, you will receive an email explaining the situation. You are encouraged to pursue other avenues of legal representation during this process.
Is there a consultation fee?
It depends. Some attorneys in our network charge for consultations, and some don’t. For those who charge, the average fee is around $100 per consultation.
How will I be charged for receiving services?
Please note that all attorneys in the JEP charge for their services. JEP attorneys use a flexible pricing system that allows clients to pay a transparent and predictable fee for the services they receive rather than paying an hourly rate. The attorney will work with you to figure out what they can help you with, how much it will cost, and how/when they will receive payment.
